we no longer visit one newspaper, or one webpage portal for all our news online. our news comes from friends, topic specific blogs, a variety of national, local and international news sites and more. in trying to make it all come together, we realized that we needed a way to follow any source, and we couldn't rely on RSS feeds, email newsletters or social networks alone.

thus, diffbot was born.

diffbot is a free online service that monitors any page for any changes over time.

with these changes, diffbot can create a meaningful experience for you, enabling you to stay up to date in a timely manner. best of all, you can choose how to consume your information, whether you are using your mobile phone, RSS reader, email, browser or other media device, diffbot will not lock you in.

diffbot likes people.

in the short term, diffbot is looking for small organizations that can benefit from online aggregation of information from a large number of sources, whether the sources are their own output, or that of others they are monitoring.

in the long term, diffbot is trying to explore ways to monetize the eco-system of information providers, distributors and consumers. consumers currently pay the price through advertising, pay walls and DMCA take down notices, but we think there is a better way to do it.

diffbot currently has a plain white text logo, but we welcome new ideas for logos on our forum.
